The selection of silicone oil for Fuji differential pressure FKC transmitter should pay attention to the operating pressure.
We generally choose the type of silicone oil for the diaphragm according to the operating temperature when selecting single or double flange pressure and differential pressure transmitters. Select the pound class and connection form of the diaphragm connection flange. However, many selection personnel always ignore that the selection of silicone oil is not only based on operating temperature, but also pays attention to the influence of operating pressure on the allowable range of silicone oil.
For operating conditions over 300°C, we generally do not recommend the use of flanged diaphragm measurements, whether repairable welding or full welding.
When the process temperature exceeds 300°C, the silicone oil will expand. When the vapor pressure point of the silicone oil is exceeded, the silicone oil will evaporate. Consider impulse tubes or magnetostrictive level gauges.
For vacuum high temperature applications, Fuji FDC capillary remote transmitter is not recommended. Because the capillary will increase with the ambient temperature, the response time of the transmitter will be delayed. It is recommended to use the Fuji FKB all-welded direct flange type.
If it is under vacuum and negative pressure conditions within 190 °C, when selecting a capillary for installation, it must be ensured that the position of the transmitter to the lowest pressure nozzle is at the same level or lower than the lowest pressure nozzle. In addition, when selecting models, it should be noted that the length of the capillary should be at least one meter greater than the distance between the upper and lower flanges.
