Several aspects of FUJI differential pressure transmitter maintenance

FUJI differential pressure transmitter is one of the most commonly used transmitters in industrial practice, but users do not know much about the maintenance of differential pressure transmitters. For FUJI differential pressure transmitters, we must do a good job in daily maintenance. , This is the only way to ensure the good application effect of the FUJI differential pressure transmitter.

1. Check the size of the mounting hole: If the size of the mounting hole is not suitable, the threaded part of the FKA transmitter is easily worn during the installation process. This will not only affect the sealing performance of the equipment, but also make the FKP pressure transmitter unable to fully function, and may even cause safety hazards. Only a suitable mounting hole can avoid the wear of the thread. Usually, a mounting hole measuring instrument can be used to detect the mounting hole to make appropriate adjustments.

2. Choose the right location: When the FKC pressure transmitter is installed too close to the upstream of the production line, the unmelted material may wear the top of the transmitter; if the transmitter is installed too far back, in the There may be a stagnant zone of molten material between the transmitter and the screw stroke, where the molten material may degrade, and the pressure signal may also be distorted; if the transmitter is too deep into the barrel, the screw may touch during rotation. Touch the top of the transmitter and damage it. Generally, the transmitter can be located on the barrel in front of the screen, before and after the melt pump, or in the mold.

3. Keep it dry: Although the circuit design of the transmitter can withstand the harsh extrusion processing environment, most transmitters cannot be absolutely waterproof, and it is not conducive to normal operation in a humid environment. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the water in the water cooling device of the extruder barrel does not leak, otherwise it will adversely affect the transmitter. If the transmitter has to be exposed to water or moisture, choose a special transmitter that is extremely waterproof.

4. Avoid low temperature interference: In the extrusion production process, for plastic raw materials, there should be sufficient "saturation time" from solid to molten state. If the extruder has not reached operating temperature before starting production, both the transmitter and the extruder will suffer some damage. Additionally, if the transmitter is removed from a cold extruder, material may adhere to the top of the transmitter causing damage to the diaphragm. Therefore, before removing the transmitter, it should be confirmed that the temperature of the barrel is high enough and the material inside the barrel is in a softened state.

5. Careful cleaning: Before cleaning the extruder barrel with a wire brush or special compound, all transmitters should be removed. Because both cleaning methods may cause damage to the diaphragm of the transmitter. When the barrel is heated, the transmitter should also be removed and the top of the transmitter should be wiped with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. The holes in the transmitter should also be cleaned with a clean drill and guide sleeve.
6. Keep the installation holes clean: It is very important to keep the installation holes clean and prevent the molten material from being blocked to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Before the extruder is cleaned, all pressure transmitters should be removed from the barrel to avoid damage. When the transmitter is removed, it is possible for molten material to flow into the mounting holes and harden. If this residual molten material is not removed, the top of the transmitter may be damaged when the transmitter is installed again. Cleaning kits can remove these melt residues. However, repeated cleaning procedures have the potential to deepen damage to the transmitter from the mounting holes. If this occurs, steps should be taken to raise the transmitter in the mounting hole.
