The ADMAG SF is the Standard and Friendly magnetic fl owmeter which Secures your profi tability and Facilitates your productivity.
The ADMAG SF is ideal for general application like utilities for various industries.
Although the ADMAG SF is for general use, the ADMAG SF inherits extremely reliable electrode structure and lining based on years of experience and achievement of ADMAG series.
With outstanding reliability and ease of operation and maintenance, the ADMAG SF will contribute reducing total cost of ownership by properly selecting products
including ADMAG TI series.

Measuring Principle:
By applying the occurrence of electromotive force proportional to the flow velocity when fluid moves in the magnetic field, the flowmeter can measure the flow velocity of conductive liquid. It calculates the instantaneous flow rate, integrated flow rate, etc. from the measured flow velocity.
System Configuration:
Basic configuration: Sensor, Transmitter, Cable

Cable(*) Signal cable (for flow signal), excitation cable (for coil excitation)

Note: Grounding devices are for taking the reference electric potential from the process fluid in measuring the electromotive force, and are fixed at two locations, upstream and downstream  of the flow. Two types of Integral and Remote type.

Type Construction
Integral type Integrated structure of a sensor and a transmitter.
Remote type Separated structure of a sensor and a transmitter, which are connected by a signal cable and an excitation cable (*).

Note:  When changing the combined transmitter, readjustment of the meter factor by actual flow calibration is necessary to ensure accuracy.

Cable Entry Direction:
For Integral Flowmeter and Remote Sensor, the cable entry direction can be specified from +90, +180, or -90 degree rotation when optional code RH is ordering, and also can be changed by customer after delivery. However, it can not be changed after delivery when optional code DHC (district heating and cooling / condensation proof use) is selected.
