There are three types of Koso positioners according to their structure, one is outdoor waterproof type (IP65), one is Explosion proof type ( Ex md II CT6 ), and the other is Intrinsically safe explosion proof type ( Exia II CT6 ).
The explosion-proof type is that the explosion-proof cavity is allowed to explode when it encounters sparks, but the sparks will not spread to the outside of the wall, and can only be used in Class 1 dangerous places, that is, the explosive gas exists continuously for 10-1000 hours a year, and cannot be used for 0 Class sites, marked as:
Ex md II CT6
Ex: International unified symbol for explosion-proof electrical
D: flameproof characteristic symbol
II: Explosive gas, steam, Class C clearance, test explosion current (equivalent to acetylene) in the factory
CT6: explosive gas auto-ignition temperature grouping:
Group 6, 100℃ ≥T >85℃
Group 5, 135℃ ≥T >100℃
Group 4, 200℃ ≥T >135℃
The other is the intrinsically safe type, which has a special circuit designed inside, so that no spark will occur, which fundamentally eliminates the possibility of explosion.
It can be used in Class 0 hazardous places, that is, explosive gas exists continuously for more than 1000 hours in a year, and of course can be used in all places of Class 1 or below, marked as:
Ex ia II CT6
Ex: International unified symbol for explosion-proof electrical
Ia: Intrinsically Safe Characteristic Symbol
II: Explosive gas, steam, Class C clearance, test explosion current (equivalent to acetylene) in the factory
T6: explosive gas self-ignition temperature group:
Group 6 ,100℃≥T>85℃
Group 5, 135℃ ≥ T>100℃
Group 4, 200℃ ≥ T >135℃
